2025 Alumni Weekend

Head to the Main Building to pick up your Alumni Weekend materials, including nametag, event gift, and room key.

All alumni are invited to attend.

Gold Key Society, class of 1975 and Head of School Society members only.

Exclusive to the Gold Key Society and the Class of 1975, this event includes the formal induction of the Class of 1975 into the Gold Key Society, which honors those who have celebrated their 50th reunion.

Enjoy delicious food, drinks, and great company for an unforgettable time.

Take advantage of Cushing’s state-of-the-art Fitness Center or hit the courts for a pickup game of pickleball, tennis or basketball.

8:00 am - Pilates with Deb Warner ‘70 - Watkins Field House or outside if it’s nice!

8:30 am - 12:30 pm — Mini-Mountain Day

Take a leisurely scenic hike up Mt. Watatic (approximately 3 hours total). The bus will depart from Shevenell Terrace.

9:00 –10:00 am – Campus Hike

Join us for a guided walk through upper campus and the Cross Country course—an ideal chance to reconnect with nature and explore both familiar and new areas of campus. The tour will begin at the flag pole by the Main Building.

Explore the changes on campus with a guided tour led by our Young Alumni Ambassadors. Tours leave from the Main Building at 9:30 am and 2:00 pm.

Join Head of School Randy Bertin for the State of the Academy, where we’ll reflect on Cushing’s current achievements and look ahead to its future.

The Alumni Memorial Service will pay tribute to the classmates we’ve lost since the last Alumni Weekend.

Vulgar Brewing Company, owned and operated by Jason Harrington ’95, will be featured at this year’s Reunion BBQ! Join us as we celebrate alumni-owned craftsmanship with a selection of Vulgar Brewing’s finest offerings.

The Class of 2020 is invited to take part in the tradition of the senior walk and handshake with faculty and staff.

Lace up and hit the ice! Join us for Open Skate during Alumni Weekend—fun for all ages and skill levels. Skates are available, so just bring your enthusiasm and enjoy some time on the rink.

Meet Eddie Buggie, Director of Inclusion and Community Life, to share bonding experiences from the past and participate in an open discussion on how Cushing has embraced inclusivity in its initiatives and programs.

Please Join Cushing Academy Alumni, Families, and Friends for the Jay Philbin, Sr. Memorial Hockey Alumni Game and 100 Years of Hockey celebration.

All alumni, regardless of hockey experience, are welcome! This co-ed game will be non-checking—just pure fun and nostalgia on the ice!

8:00 - 10:30 pm Dancing + Dessert (Drew Common)
