150th Anniversary of Cushing Baseball

I was a FacBrat and attended Cushing from 1974-1977. I played varsity baseball all three years and, despite being a pretty poor hitter (good fielder, though!), had a great time. Lots, lots of good memories. Some of the best memories were of our spring break trips to Florida in 1976 and 1977. I thought you'd like this photo from March 1977 of our team, taken at Daytona Beach right before we piled in the vans to head home to cold Massachusetts. Coach Dan McGowan second from the left and fifth from the left is Wayne Sanborn! Oh, we were all so much younger then! 🙂
